We welcome anyone to join the International Society of Hymenopterists, a lively community of ~250 people from >50 countries. Membership is open to all persons with an interest in hymenopterans. If you are a hymenopterist and not yet a member, please join the Society. Memberships support our journal and our meetings. As a member, you receive online access to our journal for free. But this is not why you should join us. One reason to join is that the journal is financed by our membership and if we didn't have enough members, we wouldn't be able to publish the journal. So even if you can get the journal in your library, you should join, to ensure that the journal gets published at all! Also, membership supports the many activities of the Society, for example our meetings and this website.

You can join, renew and purchase ISH publications online securly using paypal. Paypal accepts credit card payments without having to set up a paypal account. All prices include shipping.

ISH now has a sponsorship request form for individuals unable to pay for membership. The process of sponsorship is anonymous and the sponsee will only be notified that they are being sponsored so they can access the member database and other membership privalages.
